Hemp History
Hemp Facts
Natural Golden Jojoba Oil:
Actually a very light liquid wax that is high in Vitamin
E, easily absorbed, helps provide a protective barrier
from the elements, and is known for natural moisturizing
and
healing properties.
Refined Shea Butter: Shea
Butter is harvested from the African Karite Tree, which
grows wild in the West African Savannah region. It has
been used for thousands of years by African healers. A
mild natural sunscreen. It helps reduce dryness, improve
elasticity, and soothes irritated skin. We use refined
because unrefined has a strong odor that you really
wouldn’t feel like putting on your skin.
Cocoa Butter: It is an
excellent emollient with properties that soften, protect
chapped skin, and relieves irritation.
Beeswax: Unrefined,
unbleached. Soothes dry damaged skin. It is protective
to the skin and naturally thickens our salve. We use the
freshest possible - straight from the bees - smells like
honey.
Olive
Oil: A mild lubricant that softens, moisturizes,
restores, and doesn’t block the natural functions of the
skin. It forms a breathable film to prevent loss of
internal moisture.
Vitamin E (Tocopherols):
Soothes tender skin, is an anti-inflammatory and promotes
healing. Contains natural anti-oxidants that work as a
natural preservative as well.
Lavender Essential Oil:
Steam distillation of the flowering plant with many
healing properties. It is a wound healer, enhances blood
circulation, relieves inflammation and itching. Less than
1%.
Tea Tree Oil: The essential
oils of the native Australian tree are steam distilled
from the leaves and twigs. Used extensively by
Australian aboriginals for medicinal purposes and named
for its usage as tea. Has anti-viral, anti-bacterial and
anti-fungal properties. Less than 1%.
